Space Generation Forum 2.0, UNISPACE+50, the UN COPUOS General Assembly, and PhD Defence
1 July 2018
The past two weeks were pretty busy!
After several months of preparation from the Space Generation Forum 2.0 team, a great event was held in Vienna. SGAC Members and Alumni gathered to discuss the future of Space activities and the future of SGAC. I was so proud to be able to join on some of those discussions.
SGF 2.0 was followed by the UNISPACE+50 event at the UN along with the General Assembly of the United Nations Committee on the Peaceful Uses of Outer Space. It was great to hear about the great work different countries are doing, and to also see them all discuss the future of space activities with a vision for 2030.
Well, if that was not enough, then I had to go to Torino to defend my thesis. The defense went very well, and I got to graduate cum laude. And I finally got to visit the Egyptian museum on my last day in Torino :)
